That’s my bike. Mi bici. And it—along with my wife’s bike—is in our apartment.

It’s nothing specific to life in Spain. It’s just specific to life. Which only reinforces what we discussed the other day.
If you make a move like we did, you still have to live life at your destination. So take care as to not attempt to project someone else’s experience onto what you’d like to be your own. Without a solid sense of self and a thoughtfully-considered why behind whatever you’re doing, a new setting will likely get old—and a lot like your previous environment—fast.
Which leads me to a quick review of where we have been.
I have been striving to strike a balance between day-to-day coverage of the ins and outs of life in Spain and our core Never Retire focus. As I explained the other day, I think we have pretty much been in the sweet spot all along.
The recent blend of posts illustrates this equilibrium.
