I am curious about this eating late phenomenon.

Is it as simple as there are some kinds of cuisines which are on average healthier than others?

Or is there something specific about eating late when you are eating particular cuisines?

I can think back to today’s studying in the UK where a general Friday night was lots of beers followed by a trip to the Indian restaurant when the pubs closed at 11 pm. That certainly did leave you feeling bloated.

In Spain at least, a lot of people have their biggest meal midday. Dinner is typically smaller and later. Of course, not everyone follows a schedule, but it seems common. It has been easy for us to adapt. The main thing that impacts this for us is doing heavy exercise, which often means a bigger meal after exercise. So when we have class at 7 or 745, we tend to eat bit more late than normal. But we need those calories.

A lot of life just happens later here. Not just eating.
