Today, we focus on Barcelona.

In the next post, an update on two big visa-related developments that make our move to Spain feel even closer.

On our last day in Barcelona—before heading back to Los Angeles—we randomly stumbled onto some live music in one of Spain’s many bars owned (presumably) and frequented by (definitely) Argentinians. The South American presence and influence in the country is one of the big things I’m looking forward to experiencing more when we move there.

More on that throughout the year, but the bar in the video was our second-to-last stop on our—see you in less than a year—farewell to Barcelona and Spain.

This bar is one way to help explain what makes the ideal Never Retire neighborhood—and city—and metro area—for me and Melisse. Because, maybe more than anything, place matters as you look to solidify plans for the second act of your life.
