Of course, it’s Spain, not Mars.
My favorite exchange from the move to Spain Facebook Groups I have a love-hate relationship with. Everybody’s worried about their comfort zone even as they look to escape it.
But, yes, in the amazing supermarkets across Spain, they have ketchup. Heinz even. Lots of American brands from what are international conglomerates, plus a whole hell of a lot more. I have yet to find grocery stores better than the ones in Spain. In every aspect.
I love supermarkets. Me encantan los supermercados! So, when we’re on our Spain and France trip in less than a month (!), I’ll be dispatching with cost comparisons to the United States, based on actual LA shopping trips I took in recent weeks.
At one big European chain, I apparently won’t be able to find Pepsi or Doritos!
