Today’s Never Retire newsletter story addresses yesterday’s cliffhanger—

Speaking of plans, this week it looks like we’ll complete the process to get our foreign residency cards (TIEs) and I will try to get my healthcare card. I will chronicle each process, which, so far have been and should continue to be straightforward, even with a small snafu regarding my wife’s TIE. It’s the type of snafu that the people who lament Spain’s “terrible bureaucracy” misconstrue as bungling inefficiency when it’s actually the exact opposite.
