Living The Semi-Retired Life: She's A Construction Worker. Her Housing Costs Are Low. Can't Say The Same For Her Kids.
In the last installment of the Living The Semi-Retired Life newsletter, we pulled our first two case studies from our housing survey. In both cases, the subscribers we featured are well on their way to traditional retirement. I enjoyed that perspective.
Today and Tuesday, we feature two subscribers on different paths.
Starting with a subscriber who—well—the headline of this post says it all. I can’t wait to relay her story in her own words. On Tuesday, we feature a couple from a place that I have always had an interest in—Key West, Florida.
So I’m happy with how this data gathering is turning out. We’re going backwards by pulling qualitative data first. But I think that approach works in this case. After we complete the case studies, I’ll present all of the quantitative data with observations.
Before we move to today’s case study, be sure to check out Thursday’s installment. We covered a lot there. Turns out I had two Medium articles sort of blow up this week. This has brought in a meaningful influx of new subscribers—many thanks to —so welcome if you’re new. Now is a fantastic time to subscribe for $5/month, $50/year or support the newsletter as a founding member with $100 or more today and become a lifetime subscriber, meaning you pay once and never pay again.
