It's Never Too Late And You're Never Too Old

After one of our subscribers, Patti, referred to “getting a late start” on the second act of her life in a comment to a recent post, I replied with this—

I’d love to see increased participation in the comments of these articles. Because I enjoy the daily interactions with subscribers who leave thoughts regularly and on occasion. Plus these discussions help direct some of the newsletter’s content.

Anyhow, I’m sure this has a lot to do with the story I told about my Grandmother’s death and how I witness—and perceive—some of the older people around me. But I have a problem with making assumptions, particularly negative ones about old age.
