Exactly one year ago this week, I wrote about my primary savings strategies and mechanisms.

As critical as they are to living day-to-day life in Los Angeles and preparing for the move to Spain and beyond, it’s more than a bit comical to think that people like me—and I assume you—save in relatively small amounts while the wealthy and rich cash in multi-million dollar jackpots on a regular basis.

Today, we update a couple for those jackpots and see how my savings methods have developed and evolved over the last year as the move to Spain draws nearer. As in, just over seven months away nearer!

Upcoming in the newsletter, we’ll continue our series on concerns around the move.

And we’ll also hit hard our core theme with updated thinking and numbers.

That core theme being the death of the American dream, the impossibility of traditional retirement for most of us and the most attractive, high quality of life alternative—Never Retiring.
