As I noted yesterday, we’re in the home stretch. Nine months out from the move to Spain, I’ll spend 2024 detailing and illustrating the personal financial logistics and emotional gymnastics associated with such a big life change.

I’ll try to do it in a way that applies to whatever you’re going or thinking of going through as you approach life and, maybe, the retirement, housing and cost of living crises.

So, today, a guide to as many of the financial components I’m putting in place and working on ahead of the move that I can think of.
