Today’s Never Retire checklist item—living evenly across the lifespan. In March, when I write 20 posts in 31 days, I will meticulously detail each of the 20 checklist items, including this integral component. Any potential jet lag be damned. I’m going for it!

The last Never Retire checklist item—#6, work less now so you can work less longer—leads naturally into living evenly across the lifespan.

On the traditional retirement course, we pack a whole lot of working and earning into a relatively short period of time. If we really go all-in on convention we also pack a whole lot of spending and accumulation of things (houses, cars, etc.) into a relatively short period of time.

If you determine you’ll Never Retire, chances are you will need to—and will want to—flow through life differently. Even unconventionally.

Post #7 in March details different ways to think about and structure living evenly across the lifespan.
