Today’s Never Retire checklist item: Acceptance.
Given the pop culture and personal financial focus on traditional retirement, this first step is often the most difficult when grappling with the reality that you might Never Retire.
I struggled with it considerably in my late thirties/early forties. Now, at 47, I’m several years all-in on seeing Never Retire as a positive and all-encompassing philosophy and strategy to guide work and money as it helps facilitate life.
